Dr. Miller completed his associate degree in 1973 from Clayton Junior College (now Clayton State College). He went on to the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1975. Dr. Miller attended dental college at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta from 1976 to 1980. He graduated ranked first in his class. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force Dental Corps.
After spending three years practicing general dentistry at Moody AFB in Valdosta, Georgia, Dr. Miller began his orthodontic training at the Medical College of Georgia. He feels especially fortunate to have been chosen by the Air Force to receive a full scholarship for his orthodontic training at MCG.
Dr. Miller completed his orthodontic residency in 1986 and was stationed at the Weisbaden Regional Medical Center near Frankfurt, Germany from 1986 to 1989, when he left the Air Force for private practice. After working as an associate in an Atlanta-metro practice for a year, Dr. Miller opened his practice in LaGrange in 1990.
Dr. Miller is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and Georgia Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Miller remains involved in the local community and strongly supports the United Way, Troup County Parks and Recreation, and the Pregnancy Center of LaGrange. Dr. Miller is active in his church, and enjoys music, photography, traveling and walking for fitness.
